Hi, I’m Michael, the Founder of ChemEfy and a Chemical Engineer at Procter & Gamble, privileged to be your course instructor! Graduating at the top of my cohort, I earned a Masters in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, followed by the honour of receiving the Salters Graduate Award for leadership and influential potential in the Chemicals Industry. While I like to believe I have a solid understanding of the discipline, every day is an exciting opportunity for learning and growth!
I vividly recall my initial frustrations when exploring Chemical Engineering, struggling to grasp its essence beyond stereotypical jargon. Chemical Engineering, contrary to common misconceptions, is more than chemical plants and pipes—it's about the profound transformation of matter and the application of fundamental principles to address the world’s most significant challenges amongst many other aspects too!
My mission is to share these principles with you, ignite your curiosity in Chemical Engineering, and encourage you to think and dream big. This commitment stems from countless hours spent communicating these ideas to hundreds of students I've had the pleasure of tutoring. Lifelong learning, a skill essential for life, isn't about memorization; it's a journey that should unlock your unique mind and neural connections to new possibilities, enriching your distinctive view of the world—a transformation I hope this course brings to you 😊.
